I must admit when CHARLIZE THERON, yes with capitalization appeared on the scene, I was not impressed. She got naked a lot one of her trademarks, like Nicole Kidman, she literally was nude in most of her films. Nicole used her body as a tool onward from Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut forward to her Emmy winning TV series Big Little Lies.
Uma Thurman has fallen from grace, Nicole Kidman moved on to television and TV movies and the next up and comer has learned the lesson of her predecessors and become a producer ( I Tonya etc.)
Charlize followed Nicole’s mid-career pattern disrobing early in films such as Two Days in the Valley and the Devil’s Advocate.
But she took it to another level in Monster which garnered her an Oscar win.
Then to my amazement she began to act, really act from action roles in the reboot of Mad Max to Atomic Blonde she used her body as an appetizer and a weapon.
FUCK.
The amazing word that she used with a UK accent in Atomic Blonde took on a different meaning.
ICE COLD
As the hip hop artists used to say.
Because like Nicole she has up and coming attack of the Blondes that began with Marilyn Monroe

In a recent TV interview Charlize, admitted she was not getting any younger. But as a presenter at last year’s Sundance Film festival. She really is a beauty, a natural beauty.
Which takes me the money part of film making. Charlize has made the film industry over 1.6 billion in profits according to the-numbers.com
Her net around 160 million. Which brings me to my next topic. Pay equity. We all know that women make less than their male counterparts in every arena.
The blog at havenlife.com indicates that the smallest pay gaps in employment are jobs that are not in the top pay category ( of course).
One of those jobs is Military Officer. Which takes me to what roles would you like to see Charlize play next.
I think she has done everything.

Truck Driver
Miner
Assassin
House Wife
Restaurant Manager
But somehow she has avoided the role of military commander but she did play in the Old Guard, a friend said it was a great film. It was a sci fi military film. But she needs to play a General in a drama.
I won’t write it currently I’m writing a sci fi horror novella, a legal thriller a TV pilot and researching a native American modern western.
Maybe one of you will write a great novel or script for her to purse.
Remember as the young Charlize did. Set a goal. She did.
