Back when I was younger in the seventies you had the hot ones, the sexy ones, and well, now the dead ones.

Sophia Loren, Rita Moreno etc. are in their eighties.

Same with Barbara Eden (I Dream of Genie)

But then there is the group below me Monica Bellucci, Salma Hayek and Halle Berry in their fifties. Viola Davis, yep 55. Madonna 62.

So what is old, is Kiki the (actress singer) old.  Rhianna, Brittany, we know Billie Elish is not old, or is she when you have two year old kids belting out tunes on Tik Tok.

Time catches up with all of us, so on Super Bowl Sunday the over sixty plus crowd of over 400 zoomed into see an actor who played in a really old old movie shot in the seventies that was stuck in the sixties (ANIMAL HOUSE) to talk about the complexities of Burt Lancaster (From Here to Eternity etc.)

Well, you know at least old people have made progress. This actor even got a toast from Scotland, live, with real whiskey.

If the seventy years olds can hang.

Well, there we are, make it till you break it.

Because after a month of not wanting to write, I won’t call it writer’s block, more covid 19 fatigue, I’ve decided to make a mental charge to force myself to place these words here, break away from the streaming etc. Finish the fourth novel.

It’s only when we push on make ourselves into something else, do we crack the mold of oldness. Or to semi quote Eddie when he received a NAACP award in 2021. I’ve been doing this for forty years. He created a streaming hit with Coming to America 2
